A Spud Night & Silent Auction is being presented on Saturday, April 15, from 5:30 to 7 pm., at First Baptist Church of Southington, 581 Meriden Ave. Spud Night features a choice of baked potatoes with toppings such as cheese, broccoli, bacon and more or “garbage can,” or homemade soup as well as dessert and beverages. The Silent Auction will offer themed baskets and other gift items. Tickets are $8 and are available at the door. Takeout is also offered.
