First Baptist Church of Southington is deeply committed to active witnessing through supporting mission projects and missionaries locally and beyond. These intergenerational opportunities continue to enrich the world around us as well as our own hearts for Christ.

What We Do

Some of the missions we support:

Church World Service

The mission of Church World Service is to transform communities around the globe through projects centered on food, water and justice. Their work includes building alliances among faith groups, civil society, advocates and those in need, and provide programs and services that are impactful.

Southington Community Service

Southington Community Services provides support services to Southington residents and serves as a link between private providers, human services and governmental agencies.

Southington Bread for Life

The mission of Southington Bread For Life is to provide food, fellowship and a sense of dignity to those in need. Bread For Life relies on the generosity of the community to fulfill its mission that no one goes hungry in our town.

Connecticut Baptist Homes

Connecticut Baptist Homes is a faith-based organization affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of Connecticut that provides compassionate and affordable healthcare and housing to seniors within our continuum of care.

Board of Christian Outreach

The First Baptist Church of Southington Board of Christian Outreach identifies and responds to timely concerns on local, state, national and global levels.

Christian Education

We believe in religiously educating ourselves and the children committed to our care. In addition to weekly Sunday School for children, we offer educational opportunities for adults throughout the year with Bible and book studies.
