First Baptist Church of Southington will host its traditional Christmas Eve Service of Lessons & Carols on Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. This service, led by the Rev. Sharon Holt, includes special music and soloists, scripture, the Christmas message, and the lighting of the Christ candle. It concludes with “Silent Night” sung by candlelight. The sanctuary features the Nativity scene, a Christmas tree and an extensive display of poinsettias. The church is handicapped accessible. All are welcome at First Baptist Church!
